coming back to sensibility

stirring emotions are rich nutrients for a poet
as i was writing those 2 poems, mushy they may read,
i am romancing my own soul with the ordinary elements of life;
and when all first surges of passion dissipated, what remains
is clarity of perception.

my reliable self-help balancing scale:   keep things in perspective.

don’t ask me,
“who is this person?” “do i know her/him?”
loner poet makes love not with the material form,
but with her words, with the immaterial, with the unsatiable..
therein lies her deepest sorrow.

transforming energy
by putting them into expressive actions; and where not appropriate,
turn them into positive thoughts and intentions..
and send them to the beloved and beyond

energies are meant to flow..
what hold on to whirlpools are our delusional views
and strong possessiveness
ironically, from love, i see higher truth which is just
delusion unveiled

i can only love, i can’t bend your spirit;
i can only love, i can’t designate your will;
i wait to serve,
i stay to support,
i hear your calls coz that’s what my heart wants to do,
i retreat when i’m no longer needed

no wonder love makes one servant
no wonder god asks for total surrender
